The Chicago Blackhawks are currently in the middle of one of the worst offensive slumps in recent memory, and Kyle Davidson is being urged to do something about it before it's too late.

With that being said, Taylor Hall is a name that has been swirling in the trade rumour mill. Head coach Luke Richardson benched Taylor Hall before the Vancouver Canucks game, causing tensions to flair between the former MVP and Richardson.

«Unfortunately, the schedule hasn't allowed a lot of practice time for him, so that's the plan,» Richardson said. «We just want to get him a little bit more work. It's hard to do that in games without getting too frustrated, so that's our approach.» Hall doesn't have much choice, but he isn't pleased with the decision. «He's not happy sitting out,» Richardson told the media.

According to NHL insider Elliotte Friedman, GM Don Sweeney might be out on the trade market looking to shake things up, according to Elliotte Friedman

"They've definitely been out there looking to see if there's something they can do to shake them up," Friedman said.

Taylor Hall is no stranger to the Boston Bruins organization. In the summer of 2023, Sweeney traded Taylor Hall and Nick Foligno to the Chicago Blackhawks for defensemen Ian Mitchell and Alec Regula.

This season, Hall only has 2 goals and 4 points, and fans are starting to believe that a change in scenery could be beneficial.

Chicago Blackhawks GM Kyle Davidson should make every attempt to get a deal done while Hall still retains some value. Perhaps a deadline trade could be a strategic move to help expedite Chicago's rebuild.
