The Chicago Blackhawks are in for a tough test tonight as they take on the defending Stanley Cup Champions.

Chicago Blackhawks head coach Luke Richardson has been in the hot-seat lately for his questionable coaching tactics and consistent roster changes, and he's ruffling feathers again with tonight's projected lineup.

Although the lineup is fairly similar to what Richardson rolled with during the Anaheim Ducks, one notable change is the absence of Philipp Kurashev.

Currently, Philipp Kurashev is struggling offensively, notching just 4 points in 18 games, posting a -16 rating on the ice.

Although he's currently listed as an extra, he scored the beautiful game-winning overtime goal against the Minnesota Wild last Sunday -- and his absence could potentially be a noteworthy one tonight.

Taylor Hall has been demoted to the Chicago Blackhawks 3rd line and will be taking Kurashev's spot in the lineup tonight.

The Florida Panthers have scored five short handed goals this season. This might be an odd key to success, but Chicago cannot give up a short handed goal to the Panthers. If the Hawks get on the man advantage tonight they need to find a way to capitalize.
