the Chicago Blackhawks are coming off an impressive 3-1 victory over the reigning Stanley Cup Champions, and Florida Panthers head coach Paul Maurice had an encouraging pre-game message for the Hawks.

Yesterday, anxiety was pulsating though the Chicago Blackhawks dressing room as a 4 game losing streak was potentially on the horizon.

With that being said, Florida Panthers head coach Paul Maurice made himself available for his usual pre game interviews, and he vocalized some strong words ahead the game.

When Panthers coach Paul Maurice examines the Blackhawks, he's not sure why there's so much angst over their struggles early this season.

«They battle, skate and work hard, and they're going to go through the inconsistencies of youth; that's all it is,» Maurice said Thursday. «They have good young players; they have a superstar. It's just a matter of time.»

It's true, the Chicago Blackhawks are undergoing a massive re-build since winning 3 Stanley Cups. Despite the lengthy rebuild, the Blackhawks sentiment has been extremely low to start the 2024-25 campaign.

Chicago Blackhawks superstar Connor Bedard has been struggling in the face-off circle as of late, and head coach Luke Richardson has made the strategic decision to push Bedard to the left wing, allowing him to focus on his offensive production rather than taking draws.

"It's highly normal for a young player to come into the league as a center and spend quite a bit of time on the wing,» Maurice said. «Understanding the different positions is very, very important.»

The Chicago Blackhawks will look to keep their solid play going when they take on the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday.
