The Chicago Blackhawks find themselves falling down the NHL standings, and GM Kyle Davidson may be forced to take drastic measures to get things under control.

It's no secret by now that the Chicago Blackhawks are undergoing a massive franchise rebuild. Although the expectations for post season contentions were moderately low to begin the season, fans are starting to grow weary of losing on a consistent basis.

As it stands, the Chicago Blackhawks are currently 6-10-1, they rank 31st over in the NHL standings, and rank in the bottom 5 in almost every statistical category.

Now, fans are urging general manager Kyle Davidson to make a trade, as getting some offensive help may be the only opportunity to salvage their season.

If they want to get back to those expectations, they need to make a move. The biggest hole on the team right now is the second-line center.

Connor Bedard is in a scoring slump but he's 19 and is as talented as any prospect to ever enter the NHL. He is going to end up being one of the 10 best players in the NHL but there is some development still in the works.

Kyle Davidson made no real big splashes during the NHL offseason to build around superstar Connor Bedard, and Luke Richardson is struggling to find the ideal pairings in the Blackhawks top 6.

As it stands, they currently have Taylor Hall and Petr Mrazek as enticing trade bait, and it's time for Kyle Davidson to make a move before the season reaches its point of no return.
