Taylor Hall is reportedly "not happy" with the Chicago Blackhawks organization

Chicago Blackhawks forward Taylor Hall found himself benched for the biggest game of the season, and new reports indicate his feeling towards the situation.

Head coach Luke Richardson sent shockwaves down the NHL with his decision to bench Taylor Hall just before the team faced off against the Vancouver Canucks.

Taylor Hall has been struggling this season with the Chicago Blackhawks - registering just 2 goals and 4 assists through 17 regular season games.

Although the entire Blackhawks roster seems to be in an offensive rut, Taylor Hall is a former MVP with elite scoring ability. Although he was sidelined for must of last season due to an injury, the team had way higher expectations for Hall coming into this season.

According to the Hockey Writers, Mark Lazerus of The Athletic reports that Chicago Blackhawks head coach Luke Richardson's decision to make Taylor Hall a healthy scratch has not sat well with the veteran forward

Richardson hinted that Hall's benching could last multiple games. He said Hall is «not happy sitting out,» but said it'll be a «good step for him.»

Hall's ice time has steadily diminished, dropping to just 13:23 and it's not likely he'll be part of the team's long-term plans. The downside of not letting Hall find his game is that the Blackhawks can't showcase the forward if the plan is to trade him.

Sometimes, being benched is the only choice for a head coach to send a message. According to sources, Halls could be missing multiple games, but Luke Richardson hopes that Hall will use this as a learning opportunity moving forward.
