After last night's 3-1 loss to the Seattle Kraken, Chicago Blackhawks captain Nick Foligno has reached his tipping point.

From the very get-go, the Chicago Blackhawks found themselves chasing the puck, unable to generate any offensive momentum.

After the loss, Nick Foligno made himself available for his usual post-game interview, but this time, he had a message for his team.

«(It's about) wanting to score, wanting to get in the hard areas, wanting to make a difference, wanting to be around the net and pay a price,» Foligno told the Chicago Sun-Times' Ben Pope after the defeat. «We just don't have enough guys wanting to do that. Tonight, especially after the way we set things up to have a few days off and feel good and get ready, it's too bad.»

It seems that captain Nick Foligno has called out his team is a massive way. The Chicago Blackhawks looked rather pedestrian last night, and it's clear the team is looking rather dejected on all fronts.

It's no secret by now that the Chicago Blackhawks are going through arguably the worst offensive slump in recent memory. Last night, they only registered 19 shots on goaltender Joey Daccord, and their only goal came from a solo effort by Ryan Donato.

Currently sitting at a 6-10-1 record, the Chicago Blackhawks will soon fall out of relevance in the Central Division if they don't turn their game soon.

The Chicago Blackhawks are taking on the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday for Connor Bedard's highly anticipated homecoming. Perhaps that type of passionate atmosphere will be just what the Hawks need to breakout of their offensive slump.
