Chicago Blackhawks head coach Luke Richardson is currently on the hot seat for his handling ace scorer Taylor Hall.

Before Connor Bedard's homecoming game against the Vancouver Canucks, Chicago Blackhawks head coach Luke Richardson sent shockwaves down the NHL by benching former Hart Trophy winner Taylor Hal.

According to sources, the handling of the situation has left Taylor Hall feeling somewhat disgruntled, and many many fans are confused by the situation as Taylor Hall is easily one of the best scorers on the team.

When talking to the media on Monday, Hall revealed just how shocked he was that the Blackhawks opted to scratch him.

"I was surprised. It was unexpected, from the standpoint of I just didn't know I was even close to being in that spot, really," Hall said Monday. "If there were some conversations in the days leading up about my game, or if I was constantly being shown video, that would be one thing. So I was a bit surprised."

The Chicago Blackhawks are coming off a disappointing 4-1 loss against the Vancouver Canucks, and head coach Luke Richardson made the game-time decision to scratch Hall without any notice, causing turmoil in the Hawks dressing room.

It's not the first time Luke Richardson finds himself on the hot seat this season. Many NHL enthusiasts have been unimpressed with his constant line juggling and questionable roster tactics, and this is just another scenario that adds fuel to the fire.

Although Luke Richardson admits Hall will be out for a couple games in order to fine-tune his game, it's hard to see a world where the Blackhawks manage to outscore their opponents with Hall in the lineup.
