The Chicago Blackhawks are coming off a thrilling 2-1 overtime victory against the Minnesota Wild last night, but they may have a good luck charm to thank.

Corey Crawford is one of those players who will undoubtedly attain hall of fame status one day. He led the league with seven shutouts in 2015-16, and he was twice named as an NHL All-Star in 2014-15 and 2016-17.

Corey Crawford will always be remembered as a two-time Stanley Cup Champion with the Blackhawks during the organizations dynasty days.

With that being said, Corey Crawford made a surprise appearance at United Center last night, being featured on the jumbotron, sounding the horn to get the fans hyped before their tough Central Division showdown.

Corey Crawford's presence at the game may have ignited a spark in Petr Mrazek, who was by far the best player on the ice last night for the Chicago Blackhawks.

Petr Mrazek was an abolsute brick wall for the Chicago Blackhawks last night, He stopped 32 of 33 - including 18 of 19 in the 3rd period.

Although the Minnesota Wild made things interesting, tying things up at 15:29 in the final frame, the Chicago Blackhawks emerged victorious, winning the game in overtime by a score of 2-2.

Petr Mrazek remained strong for the Blackhawks last night as the team edged out the Minnesota Wild in overtime, winning by a score of 2-1.

I think it's safe to say that Corey Crawford's presence gave the Chicago Blackhawks some extra juice last night.

The organization should consider inviting Corey Crawford to the games more often - he seems to be a good luck charm for the team.
