Chicago Blackhawks fans are starting to get impatient, voicing their frustrations on social media regarding their head coach Luke Richardson.

First off, I just want to emphasize that the Chicago Blackhawks are currently in the middle of the re-building process, and Rome wasn't built in a day.

With that being said, The Chicago Blackhawks are currently sitting at a 5-9-1 record, currently riding a 2 game losing streak heading into Sunday's matchup against a red hot Minnesota Wild team.

Largely, fans have been voicing their concern over the lack of overall offensive production, with just 2 goals being scored in the past 2 outings.

In part, there's something to be said about management failing to bring in key pieces to build around Connor Bedard, but you would be remise not to acknowledge Kyle Davidson's faults as a head coach as well.

Nate Brown of Chicago Hockey Outlook gives his take:

Tampa Bay's run of the last decade started with the 2007 drafting of Alex Killorn in the third round but really took off with the next two drafts, highlighted by Steven Stamkos in 2008 and Victor Hedman in 2009. It also benefitted from 2011's drafting of Nikita Kucherov in the second round and Ondrej Palat in the seventh round along with the undrafted free-agent signing of Tyler Johnson in March 2011. Tampa reached a Cup final in 2015 and the window of contention remained open until they won back-to-back Cups in 2020 and 2021.

In short, what Nate Brown is trying to convey is that rebuilds take time. I completely understand the negative sentiment around Luke Richardson, but realistically, aside from Bedard, his options are somewhat limited.
